4th/5th Grade District Track Meet.

Every year our school district holds a fourth/fifth grade track meet held at Glendora High School. Five different elementary schools field teams for the event and the teams compete. After weeks of preparation and practice, it is a nice opportunity to participate in track and field. There are many different things you can do like sprinting, batons, and tug-of-war. My brother is participating in the 4x100, a relay race using batons. After running 100 meters, you pass the baton to the next person, etc etc. Whoever crosses the finish line first wins. After trying out for the team, he made it with his friends and he is eager to compete. I know Joseph will try his best and hopefully they can win the gold! :)
