Since school started, my girl has concentrated on school and SAT. She has not been able to go to Friday night fellowship because she needs to prepare for SAT class on Saturdays (8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) Of course, she missed the youth group field trip to the LA County Fair on Labor Day long weekend. Friends from the youth group have missed her so much due to her busy schedule. Christian Chen, one of her good friends from church, won a giant monkey from the LA County Fair. Last week, Christian delivered the monkey to our home for Jocelyn. She was happy with the special gift. I am thankful for her to have many supportive and great friends from church.
Jocelyn is a clumsy girl. She often falls or trips while walking. Last week, she came home with many bandages on her legs and hands. I was so shocked to hear that she has fallen as she walked up the stairs at school. My poor girl came home with scratches on both knees and elbows. I wonder why she is so clumsy? Maybe I was too cautious and overprotective while she was little, which caused her clumsiness now!
