Happy Valentine's Day!
My parents went to visit a special friend, Su En Li. When my parents first came to the U.S., she was one of their first friends. They have known her for 18 years. She has extremely high pressure in her eyes that causes her to lose her eyesight. She has been going through several surgeries and eye lasik. She can only see through the sides, the middle is black. (Like a donut.) Please pray that God will help her and heal her. My parents had a special Valentine's Day with Su En and her mom. In America, markets are filled with heart-shaped balloons and roses during Valentine's Day. People give each other chocolates, balloons, flowers, and more to celebrate love. After the visit, my parents went bowling with my brother. This was the first time my brother had been bowling. He was frustrated at the beginning because he couldn't control the ball, but then at the end he was happy because he beat my mom twice. My dad was still the champion. :) I went to the snow with my best friends, Jessica and Rebecca. This was the first time I'd visited snow this year. It was very white, fluffy, and powdery. We took sleds and sled down steep hills, with the wind rushing in your face. It was very fun! Too bad we had too leave early because our clothes were getting too wet to play.

ReplyDeleteJust some spider-man shaped chocolates from my friend Chelsea. They had peanut-butter inside. :)
ReplyDeleteMy mom asked the same question, and when I said I didn't get any from guys, she said, "That's good!" Haha she was very happy after that.
