Steam Fried Buns.

We went to my friend Serene's house. Her mom Nina is an expert at making steam fried buns. First she rolled the dough in circle shapes. Then, she placed the meat onto the bun. With care, she quickly closed the bun. After making several of these, she would steam fry them with oil and water in a pot until cooked thoroughly. After it was cooked, she would sprinkle some sesame seeds for a finishing touch. Her buns tasted better than ones you buy from bakery's or stores, because they were handmade. :) People from the northern area of China (where Serene's mom grew up) eat these delicious buns during Chinese New Year.
