City of Hope Family Picnic

Today my family went to the City of Hope Family Picnic. For $3, you could eat as much food as you wanted and play games. It was a hot day, and many families were there. We ate chicken, potato salad, pasta, salad, burgers, and hot dogs. For a sweet treat, I had cotton candy and my parents had ice cream. We wished we could stay longer, but we had to leave fast because of a dentist appointment. Before we left, my mom showed us a koi pond. You could buy koi food for 25 cents and feed them. They already knew we where there and quickly crowded around, hoping for food. :) Joseph and I had lots of fun feeding them, and they been cute slurping noises as they fought for the food. After feeding the fish we had to leave. It was a lot of fun and I had a good time visiting my mom at work.
