From Thursday through Sunday, I went to a spring church retreat with fellow high schoolers in my Sunday school class. It was a very positive trip and I am so glad I went! I know God was working in each and every one of our hearts on this retreat and I learned alot. The emphasis of the messages was love and I began to understand Jesus' unconditional love. We watched a clip from The Passion of Christ and it opened my eyes to how much Jesus sacrificed for us. Along with learning more about God, I also befriended many people. There were a lot of kids I had never talked to or shared feelings with before this retreat and I'm glad I got the opportunity. I know I will take a lot back from this retreat and I only wish the retreat was longer. :)
