Awards.

During our last week of school, we had a final awards assembly. Awards are given twice a year - halfway into the school year and the end of the year. Only selected students are given awards, and they can be for a variety of things - attendance, academic excellence, honor roll, sports, and more. After calling my name, I got six awards. These awards were for English, Math, Science, History, Principals Honor Roll, and Two Years Perfect Attendance. I am very glad I recieved these awards because it means my hard work as been recognized and paid off. I had a huge smile as I recieved the awards and I'm happy my teachers appreciate me. All the memories of 8th grade are in the past now and I know the hard work will continue in my freshman year.
