Action 2011

Action is a fundraiser held at GHS every year. This year it was a fundraiser towards Japan March 11 earthquake, and our school raised $1050! :) Every year, there is a theme and each of the four grades is assigned a color and character. This year the theme was Pokemon, and the grades were as follows:

1. Freshmen (green) - Metapod

2. Sophomores (blue) - Squirtle

3. Juniors (yellow) - Pikachu

4. Seniors (red) - Charazard

Everyone bought shirts depending on their grade for $10, and that is how we raised the $1050! We cut up our own shirts and decorated them with bows. During Action, every grade competed against each other. there were several activities like butt crawl, tug of war, balloon pop, and basketball. Although freshmen came it third, it was really fun to compete and be with my entire class!
