On March 10, 2011, Zia Yee attended the first track and field race in freshman year. Zia Yee is my only girl and I was always reluctant to expose her to any sport; especially under the sun. Now, she is in high school and is required to get credits in a sport in order to graduate. It was hard when she first started because she never exercised before. Everyday, she came home tired and sore. I am glad that she has been improving day after day. Most importantly, she felt great about herself and she enjoys running as part of daily exercise. Daddy and Didi visited her at the field to surprise her. Unfortunately, they got there after she had a race. She had set a new personal record from 8:40 to 6:58.
