Today was typical fall weather - cold and wet. Early in the morning while it was still dark, I already heard water dripping from outside. I heard the sound of rain coming from the open sliding door in my bedroom and it woke me up from slumber. A few minutes later, daddy woke up to prepare for work. I decided to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for daddy. Then, I turned on the "notebook". Quickly, I sent an email to my boss saying that I would be late to work. I don't want Didi to walk to school on a raining day. I waited until 7:15 am to wake up Didi. It was a big surprise when he heard "Mommy will take him to school today!". He got excited, woke up quickly and "smiled" to me. My boy looked so happy knowing that he didn't have to walk to school today. I could see his eyes shinning happily with great appreciation. It was really nice seeing my boy starting a new day with happiness!!! I told Didi prays to GOD for more rain so that mommy will take him to school often. He laughed and agreed with my idea!!! - posted by mom
