Haircut and Track Shopping

Today I went with my mommy to get a haircut and check out sales on track shoes. We both cut our hair thinner and shorter to feel more refreshed during the summer. :) When we get our hair cut, we both look really young and she looks even more like my sister ...

Afterwards, we went to Dicks Sporting Goods because my dad heard about the 4th of July sales. It was the perfect time to buy shoes (racers and trainers) that I need for track and cross country at a good price. Racers help a runner go faster because of its lightweight build and spikes along the floor of the shoe. Meanwhile, trainers are used during practices and long distance runs. They support the foot with thick cushioning at the bottom. At Dicks, they had a couple pairs of racers on sale for only $22! The retail price is usually around $60, so we bought two pairs. The first is a pair of Nike's that are gray with a green trim. The second, a pair of Asics, are bright pink and yellow. We also looked at trainers, and decided to buy a good quality full price pair. Better quality trainers ensure that your feet do not get injured or damaged while running. I found a pair of neon pink Nike's that I thought had great support and were very cute! Because we had a coupon, we saved $20 on the trainers. :) I'm glad I got all my track shopping done and I'm ready for the 2011-2012 season!
