Recycling.

In California, most drinks (sodas, juice, etc.) have CRV, or California Redemption Value. A consumer pays a deposit on any beverage purchase, and it can be redeemed at recycling centers. The money you receive is usually the same as CRV, so you don't lose or gain anything. Over the years, I have noticed that more and more people are coming to recycle. Today we recycled 100 bottles/cans and redeemed $6.10. My parents let me and my brother split the money. We can recycle, get money, and save resources!
