Constitutional Convention.

On Thursday, November 12, our school is having a Constitutional Convention. The 8th graders are recreating the Constitutional Convention, when the founders of the United States met secretively to create a new government for America. Everyone is dressing up in button down shirts, vests, neckpieces, rolled up pants, high socks, and shoes with buckles. We're also wearing white cottonball wigs, to look like the delegates back then. Each person is assigned with a character who attended the Constitutional Convention, and we are presenting speeches on Thursday. It's going to be fun and exciting to gather all my costume pieces and hear everyone's speeches. It's cool that we can learn about America's past in an interactive way.
