Washington D.C.

On the Friday before Thanksgiving Break, I turned in a application to go to Washington D.C. during Spring Break. Only 40 students will be selected, and it is very hard to get in. During this 4 day trip, you fly to Washington D.C. and travel on a guided tour bus with friends. All meals are provided, and at the end of the day, you return to your hotel room with 3 other friends and have a good nights sleep. Our teacher told us it is very exhausting but you see every monument and important building in Washington. It is very expensive but I am hoping I will be able to go. Most people have already recieved mail that tells them whether they have been accepted or rejected, but I have not and I am becoming very nervous. I really hope I can go on this trip, it would be the chance of a lifetime. :)
