Kids and Money.
Yesterday I went to the optometrist and the orthodontist for my regular checkup. Almost every child in the United States will get braces during their childhood. Americans emphasize on facial appearance and it is very important to have straight, white teeth. With a nice appearance, kids have more confidence and look better in front of people. My parents have spent over $10,000 on braces for my brother and I and orthokeratology for my eyes. Last week, my parents spent $600 on my optometry and orthodonist appointments. No wonder my parents only have two kids, its very expensive to raise children nowadays. I am thankful for my parents who provided me with my braces and contacts, I feel really lucky and blessed.

ReplyDeleteGlad that you understand and appreciate what parents have prepared for you two.
How do you prepare to repay them ?
