Happy Chinese New Year everyone! Gong Xi Fa Cai! Today my family and I dressed up and went to church to spend time with our friends. Everyone was excited for Chinese New Year and was in the celebrating spirit. The kids went to Sunday School and the adults went to Church Service. We all gathered together and worshipped God like a family. After church, my parents presented Joseph and I with red envelopes! :) It is tradition for adults to give kids red envelopes with money. I remember when I was younger this was the best part of Chinese New Year and I would cherish the money like it was treasure. Now I'm older I realize Chinese New Year is about family and spending time together.
