Birthday Presents!

Today we went randomly shopping and Joseph found a jacket he really loved. It is plaid with brown, white, and orange colors and a faux fur lining inside. My parents do not like it, but Joseph thinks it looks good. Because his birthday is tomorrow, my parents decided to buy it for him. It is perfect for the fall season that is coming soon. My parents also bought a venus fly trap. It is a unique plant that feeds on small insects. When an insect flies on the plant, the two sides of the plant will snap shut. Then it will digest the insect and take nutrients from it. When Joseph went to soccer practice, my mom caught a fly. When my brother came home, he ate dinner really fast because Mom said he could feed the plant after dinner. It the first time for him and he was really nervous. Slowly, he picked up the fly and put it on top of one of the fly traps. Quickly, it snapped shut. Joseph was so happy and he thought it was so fun! Catching flies is now one of his favorite things to do. Haha :D
