Busy, busy, busy!

During this past week school has been very busy for me. I have many projects due next week and I had a math test today. My most challenging subject is probably History because the teacher is very strict and has high standards. Tests will also be hard to study for because History requires a lot of memorization. My favorite class is Science because we do many fun activities and my teacher is nice and easy-going. For example, today we watched videos on different types of penguins and their characteristics. I also like English because we get to read novels and poems and interact with the class. School has been very tough but I know if I try hard I will succeed.

Yesterday my mom went to Back to School night. This is a night where parents come to meet teachers and find out what the curriculum and requirements for the new school year. From there, my mom wants me to come to Math Team every Monday to learn more in-depth and challenging math problems. She also said my History teacher is tough and that I need to study harder for her class.

With my busy schedule, I enjoy coming home to eat my mom's homemade dinner. My mom has been cooking almost everyday. Today we ate wonton soup with cabbage, fresh mushrooms, green onions, and wontons. My mom gave me a huge bowl with at least 15 wontons! I am glad today is Friday, I can finally relax over the weekend.
