Present Gifts.

My mom told me the Chinese Autumn Festival is coming soon. It is a Chinese tradition to send gifts to friends and relatives during this event. Last Saturday, my mom bought a box of Fruit and Green Tea Moon Cakes to give to one of her good friends at work. Her name is Cindy, a friend from a previous church. She is a nice, helpful person. She introduced my mom to her current job at City of Hope. My mom always appreciated her support to get the job. We also received gifts from Uncle Jack and Uncle Patrick. They gave us a box of Mixed Nuts Vegetarian Moon Cakes and a box of Sun Cakes. We feel lucky to live in Los Angeles because we have access to a variety of traditional Chinese pastries. I like Sun Cakes better because it contains honey and it tastes sweet.
