Math Team.

Yesterday I went to Math Team afterschool for the first time. My mom suggested I should go to help improve and challenge myself with harder problems. At first I didn't want to go because I thought it would be boring and a waste of time. However, I found it to be pretty fun! My teacher was very supporting and eager to teach. A lot of my friends also participated, which made the first day more comfortable. First we did a series of wordy math problems called "Warm-Ups" and went over them in class. I was pleased to find I could do most of them on my own. Afterwards, we went on to do more challenging ones called "Workouts". It really helped me to think outside of the box and to think more logically. I know Math Team will help me in the future and it's a time to learn but have fun.
