Today my family accompanied me to pick up my 8th grade schedule. I went to the evening pick up because my parents couldn't make it in the morning. I was very excited to recieve my schedule and compare it with friends. My schedule:Period 1: PE with Lewallen
Period 2: Pre AP English with Shires/Hall
Period 3: American Heritage with Apahidean
Period 4: Orchestra with Clark
Period 5: Science with Morrison
Period 6: Honors Geometry with Roselauf
While going through paperwork, I saw one of my old friends Marijo. She had moved away in 7th grade, but is back here for 8th grade! I was very happy to see her again. After getting my schedule, I went to the library to pick up my books. They were suprisingly heavy, and significantly thicker than my previous books. Hopefully I will learn a lot this year. :) I also visited the office to pick up a school map so I know where to go on the first day of school. My school is currently going through remodeling, so some of my classes are located in "portables" in the parking lot. Portables are temporary buildings to replace the ones that are torn down. It's definitely going to be a different experience in portables. I'm looking forward to my 8th grade year starting and it's going to be very memorable.
Life is like this. While you grow up, you grow physically and mentally. So 8th grade is definitely different from the previous lessons.Only hardworking and consistency will make one succeed in her understaking.
