First Day of School! :)
Today was my first day of 8th grade. I was very nervous but I quickly got used to my surroundings. My first class was Physical Education. My teacher was Mr. Lewallen, and he is very nice and friendly to everybody. We were seated alphabetically and thankfully I'm sitting next to my friend Lauren. My second class was English with Hall/Shires. English is my favorite subject, with my favorite teachers! They are both passionate about writing and enjoy what they do. In my third class, I met my history teacher Mrs. Appahidean. She is very strict and into a fast pace of learning. I predict that this class with be more of a challenge but I'm ready for it. In fourth period, I went to Orchestra with Mr. Clark. I have had him for many years. We went over classroom rules, supplies, and uniform. Tomorrow we are playing our instruments, and I hope I still remember how to play the violin! :) For fifth period, I had Mr. Morrison for Science. He plays many fun games that apply to science. Today we did puzzles about observations. Science is also one of my favorite subjects and hopefully our activities will continue to be exciting. Lastly, I went to sixth period Math with Mrs. Roselauf. I am in an advanced math class, and my classmates are in the top 10% of our school. There were not as many students as previous classes. Hopefully math will not be too much of a challenge. So far, school has been great and I'm loving it!
