Sesame Oil Michiu (Rice Wine) Chicken.

Yesterday Auntie Emma took us to a chicken farm. The chickens at the farm are cheaper and leaner (no fat) than chickens in the market. It was interesting to visit a chicken farm where people can buy a live chicken. Tonight, my mommy made a special dish called Sesame Oil Michiu (Rice Wine) Chicken. First, pour a half bowl of sesame oil in a pot. After the pot gets hot, add sliced ginger. Then, add chicken and stir fry for 5 minutes. Next, pour 2 bottles of Michiu into the pot. (no water added) Lastly, pour the mixture into a slow cooker and cook for 2 hours. The yummy Sesame Oil Michiu Chicken is done! This is a Taiwanese dish and is very healthy, especially for girls. In the wintertime, this is a common dish in Taiwan because it keeps your body warm. Also, it is a dish mothers eat after having a baby. I think everyone should eat this - its healthy and delicious!
