On Day 6, we woke up early to eat a good breakfast at Holiday Inn Express. :) They had a variety of foods including cereal, bagels, cinnamon rolls, toast, juice, yogurt, and much more. I had a nice toasted bagel with cream cheese and apple juice. It was delicious and filling. After eating, we drove all day from Hills City, South Dakota through Wyoming, into Salt Lake City, Utah. While driving through Wyoming, we saw many cows, but no bison. :[ Everything in Wyoming was barren hills and grassy plains. However, as we reached the freeway, an intense storm started. Rain was beating down on the car windows and thunder and lightning was booming in the sky. It was very scary and hard for my dad to drive. Thankfully, the storm didn't last very long and we were safe. After driving from sunrise to sunset, we arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah. We stayed at a beautiful hotel called Radisson. It was great to stretch and relax from a long drive.
